Factory-based production of edible fungi is a modern agricultural production model that uses advanced scientific and technological means to achieve large-scale, intensive and standardized production of edible fungi under artificially controlled environmental conditions. This production model greatly shortens the production cycle of edible fungi, increases yield, stabilizes product quality, and significantly improves resource utilization efficiency, ensuring a stable supply of edible fungi throughout the year and meeting the market's growing demand for edible fungi.


With the continuous advancement of science and technology, automated and intelligent production has become an important development trend in the factory-based production of edible fungi. Currently, there are mainly the following types of factory-based fruiting rooms for edible fungi:


(1) Small fruiting rooms, with small rooms, low floor heights, few shelves, and simple control of the fruiting room environment. They also occupy a large area and cannot meet the needs of large-scale, automated and intelligent development of edible fungi factories.


(2) High-rise fixed-frame fruiting rooms, with high unit area utilization, but with problems such as high labor intensity in loading and unloading shelves and uneven temperature and humidity.


(3) Mobile-frame fruiting rooms, with large overall fixed asset investment and high operating costs. The new fixed-bed fruiting house combines the advantages of various models through scientific structural design and environmental control systems. It leverages innovative technologies, reduces labor intensity and labor costs through automated equipment, and utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence. This has enabled edible mushroom production to shift from traditional empirical management to intelligent decision-making. This intelligent environmental control system allows for real-time monitoring and regulation of environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, light, and carbon dioxide concentration, creating the most optimal growth environment for mushrooms.
