1. Ear Base Formation Stage
Key Influencing Factors: Greenhouse relative humidity and light intensity after bag opening.
Management Measures: Increase diffused light and ventilation; limit 2-4 ear bases per bag for high-quality (large, thick) ears.
Watering Rule: Avoid immediate watering after opening; mist bags after ~1 week, then gradually raise humidity (do not spray water into bags).
2. Ear Expansion Stage
Fungus Requirements: Rising demand for oxygen and water; high sensitivity to moisture.
Risk Avoidance:
Prevent strong ventilation + low humidity (causes ear drying and growth stop).
Avoid poor ventilation + high humidity (blocks air exchange, accumulates water at bag openings, induces pests/diseases).
Operation: Keep greenhouse air fresh; spray water frequently in small amounts to keep ears moist (do not overwater bags).
3. Active Growth Stage
Start Condition: ~25 days after bag opening (when ears cover bag openings, under favorable temperatures).
Core Requirements: Abundant water and oxygen; increased light; ideal temperature 10-20℃.
Watering Method: On sunny days with suitable temperatures, spray ears (including sides) repeatedly (no dripping).
Comprehensive Management: Flexibly adjust conditions to balance heat preservation, moisture retention, and ventilation (ensures temperature-humidity-light-air balance).
Disease Prevention: High water content + elevated temperatures cause "runny auricularia" (contagious bacterial disease leading to gelatinous liquid, poor quality, or crop failure).
4. Harvesting
Maturity Criterion: Ear lobes curl back (1/4-1/3 of lobe length).
Harvesting Tool/Method: Use a small curved or sharp knife to cut lobes at the base (avoid surface damage to prevent growth impact).
Post-Harvest Handling: Disinfect lobes; stop watering for 4-5 days to let mycelium recover and form new bases. Resume watering when lobes differentiate into cup shapes (starts new growth period).
