Pucheng County is located at the northernmost tip of Fujian Province, China, and is administratively a county under the jurisdiction of Nanping City, Fujian Province. 1. History of Ganoderma lucidum cultivation in Pucheng
In 1989, Pucheng County technicians successfully experimented with wild-simulated cultivation of Ganoderma lucidum on logs under the guidance of experts, and then began to cultivate red Ganoderma lucidum on logs on a large scale. The Pucheng (Xianzhilou) Ganoderma lucidum base has passed the four major organic certifications for 19 consecutive years and has won many honors, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's "Demonstration Base for Edible and Medicinal Mushroom Cultivation and Processing Technology", the National "Three No and One Complete" Medicinal Material Brand Base, the National Key R&D Program Ganoderma lucidum Demonstration Base, and the Agricultural International Trade High-quality Development Base.
