Formula, raw material processing and mixing in the production of wheat grains of Morchella
Formula
Wheat grains 75%, cottonseed hulls 10%, corn cobs 11%, soybean meal 2%, gypsum 1%,
quicklime 1% (increase or decrease according to pH).
2. Raw material processing
(1) Soaking wheat grains: Use a cement pool or a temporary one-time pool with enclosures,
shovel the wheat grains into the pool, add about 1% quicklime, and add water to submerge the
wheat grains more than 15 cm. During the process, add water according to the water absorption
of the wheat grains to keep the wheat grains in a soaking state. The soaking time is controlled
according to the water temperature. The water content of the wheat grains is 38%~42% when
the wheat grains are fully absorbed, there is no white core when the wheat grains are twisted,
and the skin is not swollen and broken.
(2) Auxiliary material processing: Cottonseed hulls and corn cobs are prepared more than
12 hours in advance, and a mixer is used to add enough water to mix and pile them up. After
the clear water is naturally drained, the water content is 62%~65%.
3. Mixing materials
The water in the soaking pool for wheat grains should be drained 4 hours in advance and
drained until there is no visible water. Use a forklift to shovel the wheat grains into the mixer,
shovel in the corresponding proportion of pre-wetted auxiliary materials according to the ingredients,
add soybean meal and quicklime, and stir directly for 5 minutes without adding water before use.
